Basic life support (BLS)

The American Heart Association’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

We teach:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • BLS concepts from the Chain of Survival
  • Delivering effective breaths or ventilations

Heartsaver CPR,  AED, & First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion e-card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency. We teach :

  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
  • Drowning response and prevention
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

 

Heartsaver CPR AED

The Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card for CPR training—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency.'

We teach:

  • Signs of a Heart Attack or Stroke
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
  • Drowning response and prevention
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

Heartsaver first aid

Heartsaver First Aid is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a first aid training to meet job, regulatory, or licensing requirements. Always confirm with your employer which format is accepted.
